He loved his school from the first moment he entered the door. My favorite parts of this school are the sincerity and freedom you feel as you enter the door. They really treat and evaluate each student separately. The founder of the school, Sümeyye Hanım, is an incredibly sweet person, she is open to all kinds of crazy ideas, negative or positive criticism. It is a school where you will not feel the business mentality at all.

I can say this about uNiK school... it's indescribable, and must be experienced.

They have a different methodology that guides the child to acquire new knowledge. My son started yoga, dancing, learned notes, speaks Italian words. In the sense that we know, instead of a classroom environment, there are open areas where children will feel more free. No bell is used to switch between lessons. Different classes come together with art workshops and transfer to each other. The child's spirit is not crushed under the weight of academic education. They don't send much homework to the house.

As an educational member of the uNiK family, I don't know if I could find another school to entrust my daughter to. From the Founder of the School, to the teachers, to the cleanliness and safety, everyone is warm and passionate about their job like a family. A developing school established in the recent past, and it is progressing on a positive path. The school is full of innovations and it is always updating itself.

100 DIL

100DiL program, which is designed by experts from different countries and different fields, believes that kids in early years don’t need class walls, chairs, and some rules to learn. Kids need love, belief, and a playground to dream, invent, and learn.The programs’s main target is to help parents to explore their kids inner feelings and hidden skills.

LEARN GLOBAL

Learn Global is an international consultancy agency that focuses on delivering innovative leadership solutions and services to assist its clients manage and enhance their businesses performance. It has a special focus on Education and Innovation fields. uNiK is run by Learn Global.

SCHOOL BUILDING

Our school is designed to be a place where children love and enjoy learning. We purposely designed our school campus to have open areas that are bigger than closed ones, to ensure they get to have an active day. The building has been certified by Istanbul Technical University (ITU), attesting to its exceptional safety against earthquakes, meeting the highest standard established

ORGANIC FOOD

We have taken extra care to provide only natural and organic food for our students. Children will have the opportunity to also learn to cook selected meals they like by themselves. We are also a school that will take any allergies our students have seriously.

FURNITURE

All our furniture is made of natural wood and has been especially treated with a chemical-free process for the safety and benefit of our students. All flooring is also made of natural, anti-bacterial material.

LEARNING ORGANIZATION

One difficult thing is to choose the most suitable teachers who believe in the mission of education and are capable of supporting our children to the maximum. The aftermath of the 2023 Turkey earthquake has left a deep impact on the hearts and minds of the Turkish people, but in the midst of the devastation, Sümeyye Yörük with her little student (Sibel) from uNiK School, have emerged as beacons of hope and resilience. Through their song “Aid4All,” they have poured their hearts into a message of hope and inspiration, providing comfort and strength to those affected by the disaster.

There are never two identical fingerprints, same goes for human beings. Each one of our kids is a different, unique story. Therefore, education is not about producing copies of the same standard student. Everyone of us has his own unique personality interwoven from different set of colours, tastes and shapes. Everyone of us has his own recipe of traits, hobbies, skills, ways of thinking or expressing, likes and dislikes, or let us call them his/her “languages”. Everyone of us has a unique destination where he/she will, and should, excel and innovate.

Our curriculum includes everything we do both in and outside of the classroom. Our perspective on education, reflected in our curriculum, is that we are not filling a bucket, but rather lighting a fire. We cannot possibly teach everything that there is to be learned. Thus, we endeavor to teach students to “learn how to learn” by giving them the skills to do so. Most importantly, we aim to instill in our students a love of learning as a passionate pursuit in and of itself. Our curriculum is centered on teaching our students how to take control of their own learning. We focus on teaching students to ask the right questions and be confident searching for answers.
